Happy Hearts

12:30pm - 3pm
Ages 4– 6

Starting in Fall 2026

Afternoon program for Hummingbird House children to support older children to be first grade ready.

Following the morning at Hummingbird, Happy Hearts is designed specifically for the older children of Hummingbird House to build upon and refine the skills needed to be First Grade Ready.

The children transition seamlessly into crafts, puzzles, and imaginative play activities that foster focus, dexterity, and exploration of foundational skills. These experiences support cognitive development, social-emotional growth, and physical coordination as the children create crafts, play games and act out stories.

All of the activities are child focused  to deepen their ability to cooperate, manage emotions, and follow directions, while continuing to strengthen fine motor skills for writing and cutting, and gross motor skills for running and jumping.

Requirements to attend: Children must be four years old and also attend Hummingbird House morning program. it’s not possible to only do Happy Hearts.
